Summary: Thanksgiving is taken very seriously in the Barton Family (or, rather, between the Barton siblings). Typically James hosts, considering Skyfall manor is the only place large enough to fit them all. However, it was rather recently…blown up. Yeah. Will’s apartment is far too small, and John, Aaron, Jason, and Brian have the same problem. William has recently shipped out to Afghanistan, and while none of the Barton clan would be opposed to a vacation in warmer climates, it’s not the best backdrop for Thanksgiving dinner.

Clint, on the other hand, has just moved into Stark Tower.

 

Holy crap. Most tags I’ve ever done on a post. I’m not even familiar with half these movies. No, really–I was reading this fic, and I immediately had to go back and read it again just to figure out exactly what was going on.

Ensembles are tricky to handle, and, in this case, six of the main characters are all characters who were played by Jeremy Renner–hence the “sextuplets” tag. Then there’s some fandom/headcanon stuff–casting Q as the third Holmes brother, for example (I’ve also seen Colin Morgan / Merlin as a candidate), and I’ve seen other combinations of James Bond and John Watson in a lot of different families, so…yeah, I can buy it. It’s–fun, for lack of a better word. I like seeing all these worlds collide together. Yes, it’s mildly insane that all these super-spies exist in the same world, but insane in a fun way.

I grant you, some parts of this fic are rough around the edges–people start talking in exposition, and the Clint/Coulson pining isn’t terribly original, and it seemed like some of the plot threads and relationships went unresolved, but I just enjoy seeing all these people bounce off of each other.
