Reviewing porn is hard. For the most part, it depends on whether or not you appreciate a particular kink. personally, I tend to find anything hot, as long as it’s well-written, a good description of how the character feels can make up for a lack of interest in the kink itself.

So, yeah, you might not go for a wild gangbang, but, at the same time, there are some lovely parts here–the ritualization of it, the way all the Commandos adore Bucky and can’t stand the thought of hurting him, the way Bucky can let himself go. That’s all pretty hot. From a technical level, too, there’s the challenge of differentiating all of the guys involved–not an easy task when you have half a dozen ‘hims’–and even though some of the guys get less screen time than others, you still get an idea of how all of them are offering something new to the dynamic.

Not bad for a self-proclaimed first time smut writer. Better than my first effort, for sure. I’d probably go back and retroactively change my first NC-17 fic to a hard R, considering how much I danced around the smut. Ah, for the days when I was afraid to write smut. I was an innocent little fangirl then. Then I went on to figuring out the multiple 'hims’ puzzle…

Oh dear, I’m referencing my own fics. That feels terrible. I’m scared to go back and read those things.

Also…I wonder, sometimes, if correcting typos in a reblogged post or an author’s summary is considered rude? I can’t help it, that “lose-limbed” was driving me nuts…
