Summary: For the prompt: Arthur/Merlin, Arthur and Merlin are best friends and everybody knows they will never be as important to the boys as they are to each other…Sophia comes to Merlin to ask how she can make Arthur pay more attention to her and he makes her realize that Arthur gets all his emotional fulfillment from Merlin already.

 

Yeah, this is true crack–it’s obviously over-the-top and yet it sounds like it all could happen. The writing feels so dense with details, you almost can’t appreciate the pure absurdity of all of it on the first read.

Really, with crack, you sort of know within the first paragraph or two whether you’re going to laugh or sigh. If you find yourself siding with Gwen’s fangirling, you’ll love the fic.

I also love that, regardless of whether you read the sex ending or the bromantic ending, they end up essentially married.
