Summary: For the prompt: Bruce is in an established relationship and his lover (I’m partial towards Loki or Tony, but any is good) is having sex with the Hulk as well. Hulk and his lover are having sex and something goes wrong. Maybe the Hulk accidentally hurts his partner (they didn’t stretch enough?) or for some reason the lover becomes genuinely upset and afraid by something.

Hulk backs off, either by noticing himself something is wrong (preferred) or when his partner asks/begs. Cue Hulk comforting his lover. They fix the problem and continue with their sexy times.

It never fails that once I’ve gotten through a particular theme–like, say, interesting Bruce/Hulk fics–and get everything keyed in to post, I think of more fics to post. Most of this week was angsty stuff, but I have cute fics. I have kinky fics. I have comedy-of-errors fics.

I also have other fandoms to get to. Someday I might reach the point where I regret posting multiple fics a day, but today is not yet that day.

I find this piece to be completely adorable. It gets into Loki’s identity issues succintly–the reality of why he hates himself, and how he interprets everyone’s reactions to reinforce that. Hulk shows off that wonderful combination of simplicity and wisdom. He’s surprisingly adept with metaphors. I’m particularly fond of

Hulk knew that sometimes you had to say and do things a lot before people believed you. Like hitting things with tanks. It took a lot of hitting things with tanks before stupid people stopped sending more tanks.

It’s a short piece, but it just cuts straight to the heart of the matter.
